Who can Manage ?
The Manager of a premises on this site can be a Licensee,
Manager or Area Manager who has a proprietary interest in the premises.
They will always take priority over any entry already submitted to this
site. However the site is built so that if you are a customer and wish
to add the premise you enjoy visiting you may also add that premise to
this site providing you have all the details. A manager can add as many
premises as they wish but will only be able to add the basic front page
details without charge.
Log-in
When you first visit the Managers Section you will
be presented with the Managers Login screen. If you have previously registered
you will be able to log in and will be taken to your listings page.
If you have not previously registered then you must click the link to
sign up as a new user. You will then see an enrolment form. Complete all
the details and click the button to save the details. Note some of the
fields are mandatory.
If you have entered your email correctly you will receive a confirmation
receipt. It will contain a copy of the user name and password you have
selected.
Manage Account
You will then be prompted for the next action which
will be to manage your account, you will be offered the option to edit
your profile, view your premise listings or log out. At this stage you
will not be required to pay anything.
You will have two listings the top one will be the premises you have requested
to be added to your own listings. Below that list will be the premises
that have been assigned to you.
You will only be able to add premises basic details (Section A) free of
charge. If you wish to add any more detail than that you will have to
upgrade your membership from Basic to one of those for which there is
a fee.
Please make sure you search for the premises you intend to add before
you add it in case we already have it listed.
If the premises has already been listed in the initial upload to this server please email us with the Name and Address of the premises which you are interested in updating and if you register with us we will assign the premises to you to manage it.
In order to provide integrity to this service and ensure
the searches can be carried out speedily we have created a relational
database throughout the site. This means certain elements are mandatory
to assist the process, below is an explanation of the fields and method
of entry that you will come across if you use the managers facility.
Adding a Premise
Before any premises can be inputted you need to select
an operator. An operator for the purpose of this database is the owner
of the building this may be a large brewery or a small chain of pubs linked
to a common operator, it may even be a sole operator with a single premises
to their name. A number of Operators are held on the site already. If
the relevant one is there you may select the information from the dropdown
box. If a relevant entry is not in the list you must make a request to
the administrators of the site using the link and form provided.
Please note that if the premises you are referring to is run by a Management Committee with a c/o address at the premises itself then select that option rather than request a further Operator be added.
Like wise if the premise is owned by a Sole Trader, Partnership or Limited Company as an operator c/o the premise address please select that option rather than request a further Operator be added.
The premises details can then be completed. The premises
name whether or not it has The in the title must not be entered with "The"
first, for instance [The Three Bells] needs to be entered Three Bells,
The. This allows for Ascending and Descending order searches to be more
relevant.
The premises you are entering the details of must be allocated
a type, please select the most appropriate.
You will notice that in order to enter details of the location
they appear in reverse order after the first line of the address, the
master is the Country, then County and then Town or Village appear. They
appear in that order to relate the three to the locations of over 34000
locations in the UK. Drilling down to the location. If you feel there
is an error in the these locations please email us with the details.
You are required to enter the Post Code details. These should
be entered correctly as the Post Code will form a link to the mapping
system in use and will provide the browser with a map of where the premises
is located.
The other compulsory field apart from the telephone number
of the premises is the Licensing Authority. We are aware that currently
justices licences are dealt with by the Court. This field requires the
Licensing Authority for which the premises stands in if it needed a Public
Entertainment Licence now, in other words the Council Office. This will
ensure that when the new legislation begins in England and Wales the correct
authority has been entered.
We have also allowed for the Parish or Town Council to be
selected where this can be defined. The fields will be populated where
relevant once you have selected the County address field.
There is provision to advertise the fact that the premise
is available for sale or lease etc. This is only available to those paying
for the Gold Members Service.
Below this is an opportunity to give brief details as to
a summary of the premise and for a photo of the premise to be displayed.
Do I have to submit details online?
The site is primarily designed and intended for on line submissions. However
we have made an form available to send the details manually. Look at the
bottom of this page for the location of the off line submission form.
Paying Membership Fees
If you wish to enter more detail regarding your premises than that on
page 1 you will need to subscribe to the service. The service is split
into 3 levels. Bronze, Silver and Gold Membership.
Bronze Membership
Membership Fee = £49.95
Renewal £44.95 per annum
In addition to the basic front page those Managers who have chosen to
upgrade from Basic to Bronze Membership will be able to add details of
the features available such as facilities on offer at the premise. They
will also be able to list their full opening hours and where applicable
the hours food might be available.
Silver Membership
Membership Fee = £74.95

members you will be able to add additional photographs and more detail
about your premises.
Gold Membership

If you go for Gold status you will also be able to add details of your
menu to the site and keep up to date with an events calendar applicable
to your premise that you have full control over the number of entries
you add. (Please note as one of the administration functions we will automatically
weed events after the date of the event has passed.) Furthermore for Gold
Status those interested in advertising their premises for sale may do
so.
Off Line Submission Form
If you prefer not to register on line you can use a form created for Off
Line Submission. The form is designed to allow you to display it in your
browser window and type in detail or select from drop down boxes. This
is the next best method. Alternatively you can print the form off blank
and write the details in using block capitals and then follow the instructions
at the bottom of the form.
